29 THE WOMAN
The woman is the main character card and represents the questioner. For the male questioner, the woman symbolizes the official life partner, wife, or beloved. The woman also represents female energy or the feminine side of yourself. This card emphasizes the importance of empathy, care, and intuition.
ALTERNATIVE CARDS FOR MAN AND WOMAN
The Lenormand deck was traditionally designed with the “Man” and “Woman” cards. If you don’t identify with either the “Man” or the “Woman,” that’s not a problem. The choice is independent of your actual gender and serves only as a symbolic representation of yourself in the reading. Choose the pair from the deck that resonates with you the most and decide whether card 28 or card 29 will represent you. It is important that the deck contains only one card 28 and one card 29 to ensure clear and precise readings.
