28 THE MAN
The man is the main character card and represents the questioner. For the female questioner, the man symbolizes the official life partner, husband, or beloved. The man also represents male energy or the masculine side of yourself. This card emphasizes the importance of self-confidence, independence, and leadership.
ALTERNATIVE CARDS FOR MAN AND WOMAN
The Lenormand deck was traditionally designed with the “Man” and “Woman” cards. If you don’t identify with either the “Man” or the “Woman,” that’s not a problem. The choice is independent of your actual gender and serves only as a symbolic representation of yourself in the reading. Choose the pair from the deck that resonates with you the most and decide whether card 28 or card 29 will represent you. It is important that the deck contains only one card 28 and one card 29 to ensure clear and precise readings.
